- Character Description
An uchigatana (Japanese sword) forged by the renowned swordmaker Kanesada during the end of the shogunate period. This sword was also a favorite of the Shinsengumi vice-commander, Toshizo Hijikata. He has both looks and skill, but his short-temperedness is his pitfall, similar to his previous wielder. As the leader of the second unit, he will complete his missions.

Q: Tell us your impression of the character you are acting as and what enthuses you most when you are acting him.
A: I was happy because I got to portray a cool, strong Kanesada-san.
Q: Tell us about any happenings around you lately that feels like "Hanamaru".
A: Keeping in touch with a friend I haven't seen in about 10 years, and from there being able to make new friends, being able to hang out with other dear friends and linking them through real life social connections!
