A tachi made by Sanjou Munechika, a swordsmith from Heian era. As appeared in the Noh play Kokaji, he's said to be created with the assistance of the Inari deity. Even though his name is Kogitsune (little fox), he's not small at all. Despite not being small, he likes to get noticed by the master.

Q: Tell us your impression of the character you are acting as and what enthuses you most when you are acting him.
A: With a refined yet wild feel, he has a mysterious charm. His origin as a sword also brings forth a sense of subtle profoundless. I think you can proficiently enjoy his habitual charm in Hanamaru, where he talks freely and eats fried tofu.
Q: Tell us about any happenings around you lately that feels like "Hanamaru".
A: We held a farewell party for a friend who was going to the States. Many friendships came to an end at that party**. Since it's been a while since the members of this group has gathered up so it ended up being some sort of a reunion. Even though the trigger was a farewell, it made me realised once again that having friends was nice.
