実戦刀として現世に身を置くならば、彼のようにあるべきなのでしょうね。
進むべき道は見えました。そう在れるよう、貴方のもとに帰るとしましょう。

Dear Master,
I was present throughout my previous master's lifetime.
As always, matters about myself are vague.
However, there is something I have gained from his way of life:
He rushed alone into a battlefield of probable defeat and let his allies escape - his military exploits.
He lost his life in the end, but many were saved from his actions.
If I were to serve as a combat sword in this world, then I suppose I must be like him.
I can see the path which I must follow. In order to be like that, I shall come home to where you are.
