I was in Nagoya for just 3 nights back in November, I'll quickly share some of the photos here : )
This is Atsuta Jingu, aside from being a significant place in Shinto beliefs, it is also where Taroutachi lives.
Also, the kishimen and ice cream here are amazing... :P
Taroutachi on permanent display at the treasures exhibition hall
Some other touristy spots... as well as a couple shots from my smithing experience.
having won kuri chan as a cup noodle stopper at sega world, I took him to tokugawa en for a photoshoot
Another shot at Tokugawa en
I visited a legit swordsmith in Gifu Hashima and made myself a little stabber. It's ugly, it's flawed, it's just cheap HC steel, but this one is my own. : )
Gingko tree in its full autumnal colours above the smith's house. It was gloriously sunny that day, so it didn't feel cold at all.
My teacher for the day, the Smith at Asano Kajiya. His name is Taro. Just like Taroutachi : )
That'll do for now, oyasumi~
